These 2 guys break it down to the days that some of us have forgotten. I admit I am reminded too, but I'm laughing to myself how correct they are. Loads of my friends and I did the same stuff as grade-School age lil' Dudes. Of course mostly in the summer when it was hot it seemed natural to lounge around home in just undies.

As little boys we played together in our briefs. Definitely indoors and sometimes outdoors. That was all the modesty little dudes needed. If we got our pants dirty our moms would pull the pants off and let us run off to play in our briefs. And even later when we were 8 or 10 it was not unusual to hang around together in somebody's bedroom wearing only our briefs.

When I was growing up and also in school. White undies were the only type that everyone wore back then. You never saw any boys wearing a colored pair of undies back then. Moms made sure that they were always very clean and bright. I reckon the only way to make sure a boy was in clean white undies was by soaking them in bleach water first , then to the washer were there was more bleach added to the soap. It's a wonder our butts weren't purple from all that bleach.
I have always been very found of white undies. Thank you guys for sharing your Tightie Whitey stories. It sure brings back memories, and a smile to my face about those days.
The comment about washing undies in bleach to keep them white reminds me of a comic strip in the newspaper many years ago. A boy (about 12) was complaining to his mother, "You washed my underwear with the red drapes and now everybody calls me Pinky."
