Regarding Summer Camp.
In my own case, beginning at about 10 years old I sat in class literally counting the days until next summer's camp. At that young age I could not have explained why I loved camp so much, but I know understand that it was because of the all-boy surroundings and the low-key nakedness.
Then I entered puberty at 13 and my love for camp shot up like crazy. I had almost zero sexual experiences at home, contrasted with nearly unlimited chances to enjoy my (and others) horny maleness at camp.
