A Family Spy

A strange thing happened when we stayed at my aunt and uncle's place for a couple nights. I was maybe 15, pretty sure not 16 yet. One of my cousins was younger, I would guess he was about 13.

I was in the shower with the curtain closed. In a minute I open the curtain and the lil' cuz is standing there at the sink combing his hair with me naked as the day I was born. I swear to you that I locked that door and yet there he was. Right away he said he would get out of my way and while he walked out there was no question that he was kind of moving things around behind his zipper.

My guess, he just wanted a good luck at my plumbing, maybe because I was older. But a person could also think that he wanted to start something.

  1. We are ignoring a central issue in this story: The writer says that he locked the door. Wish somebody would comment on the locked-door aspect.

    1. He is pretty sure he did but maybe not, perhaps there is a key involved or it's like the bathroom in my old apartment the door never really locked. You could "lock" it but it wasn't locked, it made for plenty of embarrassing moments between roommates.

  2. Most bathroom locks can be opened with a small screwdriver. I'm thinking the guy had experience rescuing a young sibling who accidentally locked the door.

  3. Yup, I think the boy knew how to pick those home door locks with a tiny screwdriver, and that's what he did.

  4. I accept all that about the lock. What amuses me is the picture of the shower curtain sliding back to find an audience standing there. EEP!

  5. That younger boy satisfied his curiosity. OP does not give his age. But says he was fixing his junk. More than likely went off someplace. For a secret whack after scoping OP.
