Each is a little jewel, and they are generally robustly happy and talkative. One of these precious guys, thin and blond and sort of shy, bagged up my groceries yesterday and pushed the cart out to the parking lot, walking side-by-side with me and calling me "Sir" the whole time.

As he helped me stow the bags in my trunk, I saw three distinct dried, grey spots on the left thigh of his Khakis. I tipped him as usual and kept my mouth shut.

But I was happy for him, thinking, "You made good use of your break time this afternoon, didn't you!"
