I want to share my story. When I was 13, and I went to the community center with my best friend, who was 14. At that time, I was small and skinny, and he always protected me since he was bigger and stronger. We were playing in the pool until we got tired and got out to relax for a while . As usual, I sat on his lap while he sat on one of the chairs beside the pool. But I secretly always got a hard-on from sitting in his lap, having his arms around me, our shirtless bodies connecting.
Since we lived in California luckily, being gay wasn't always ridiculed. So, I asked, "Hey (I won't say his real name, so we'll say Sam) Sam? Are you um...gay?" He looked shocked for a moment, until a meek, "Yeah." came from his lips. With that confession, I smiled and started to kiss him. I don't know how long we stayed there, kissing each other, but it felt so right. After a while, he whispered, "Let's go to a bathroom, okay?" I agreed and we walked in a stall together, We stood on the toilet seats and kissed for so long.
Finally, he taught me how guys actually have sex,
"You see, they put their stiffies inside their butts."
"Isn't that gross? We poop from there!"
But he simply smiled.

Dave brings us this story from his youth. I believe it is best to let the story serve as testament to his affection for someone he cherished...
I suppose it's possible, but it seems unlikely to me that a boy could accurately call himself straight or gay at the age of 13. We all have had friends who were sworn wank buddies during early adolescence, but suddenly discovered girls at 15 or 16. IMHO sexual orientation doesn't fully kick in until a few "experimental" years have passed. Not doubting this story, you understand, just expressing an opinion about boys in general.

DeleteMy thoughts are based on a beginning supposition, we know the author is from Cali, which is fairly progressive on sexual topics and alternative life-styles. However we do not know exactly what era this event occurred. I would enter the proposal that youth growing into sexual awareness in the past 20 years have a far greater influence of their sexual being by internet access, social media and the generally relaxed ideals in society about sexual preference. There is what I consider a sexual movement happening in the presents day for teens, causing an unusual trend in popularity for kids to proclaim to be Bi, or bi-interested.
I feel the Author and his friend “Sam” represent a portion of the readers who visit here, but these boys just happened to be willing to vocalize their interests to a trusted friend. In this story, the author asked Sam if he were gay, which could have easily been stated, “Have you ever thought about doing sexy stuff with another guy?”, or in adult vernacular, “Are you Bi/Gay-interested?”.
This story has an enhanced emotional tone which doesn’t often appear on OOTS4U2, however it is indeed valid, and I can attest it does happen with some pairs of boys.
Gay, or Bi.....I think many of our readers might have pondered this very subject some as well, so hopefully folks might weigh-in on this.
