Running IE 11 on Win 7 Home Premium. The problem has never happened before. I just found that I can scroll to a point about halfway down the page (very long page). Everything is black until suddenly the enlarged picture comes into view. It is larger than the screen and must be viewed by scrolling up and down and side to side. I reduced the screen view down to 75% and then 50% and could then see the entire picture. There is no way to exit the picture screen. If you click the left arrow to return to a previous page, you reach the screen that asks if you want to continue to the blog. This is a new one on me. Very peculiar.
DeleteI suppose in the future for web-page troubleshooting it might be advisable to use the FAQ page, versus adding off-topic dialogue in comments for a post. But that is for best practices, now in hindsite.
DeleteI was able to replicate your issue using IE 11. I managed a feeble work-around - after an attempt to expand the picture, choose refresh, the browser is now refreshed, then choose the pic again, it should display the image properly inside the black secondary page.
Another option enable Compatibility mode and enter blogspot.com. This will quickly allow the pic preview, however it does change fonts on the page, etc.
I also reviewed the HTML settings for the blog and did not see any stray code. I generally test against Firefox, and occasionally Chrome. I tried a variety of settings within IE, with no positive outcome other than the tricks listed above. By the way, only about 1% of our guests visiting here use IE. Chrome is 42% Firefox is 28%, and Safari is 15%.
